A competitive bid for the regeneration of Green Man Lane – an estate of 464 flats constructed in the 1970’s – located between an area of 2 storey Victorian houses and the ailing retail frontages of West Ealing High Street.  The existing estate suffers from dislocation from its surroundings and in masterplanning the redevelopment, JCMT proposed to restore a more traditional street pattern, a more human scale, a new green walk reconnecting the new homes with the park to the north, and a series of public squares, or ‘events’ central to the vision for the area.

The masterplan was produced as a bound volume of plans, sketches and 3-d visuals and was presented to a panel comprising local authority and resident representatives.
